Dental reconstruction
Dental reconstruction
Dental reconstruction is a Conservative Dentistry treatment that consists in restoring a tooth damaged by some cause, and that is performed directly in the patient’s mouth. This treatment is especially sensitive to the skill of the operator. The quality of the material used is also very important. Currently, the dental composite is the “gold standard” in restorative dentistry and is the material chosen to perform dental reconstructions in Dávalos and Balboa. It is an aesthetic, biocompatible material (does not produce a titular response and does not produce allergies), of great resistance and durability and with excellent optical properties (mimetic with the tooth).
The composite can be used to treat decay, to restore fractured teeth, to replace old silver amalgams and also to perform aesthetic treatments such as composite veneers.
With the composite you can reconstruct the anatomy of dental pieces with excellent functionality and aesthetics.
Indications: Teeth
- With cavities
- Fractured.
- Short and worn.
Advantages:
- It is not toxic like the old silver amalgam.
- It offers excellent aesthetics and is biomimetic.
- It adheres to the tooth in a very effective way by sealing the joint between them.
- It is a very conservative and economical treatment.
